At Midas you always know where you stand that’s why we have put in writing our guarantee up front.
This guarantee gives you specific legal rights. You may also have rights under State and Federal legislation - please read it carefully
As you would expect from Midas we guarantee all workmanship and parts that we supply and fit. So should any part supplied by Midas be incorrectly fitted or found to be defective¹ during the guarantee period Midas will rectify or replace the part for no charge² and we cover this at our stores nationally.
Guarantees for vehicle services and repair can have different time periods and kilometres travelled. That’s why we have set out below the MIDAS GUARANTEE PERIODS and the guarantee is effective until which ever (time or kilometres) occurs first.
Obviously there are certain things that Midas can’t cover under our guarantee and those things are set out here.
If the vehicle is used in a competition or on a closed circuit timed event, or if the part has been removed from the vehicle on which it was originally fitted.
If the part has been damaged by misuse of the vehicle or been involved in an accident and for causes that are beyond our control.
If we do not supply the part we cannot cover it under our guarantee. Where any part or product supplied by the Customer subsequently fails or proves unsatisfactory, Midas may charge to remedy the fault

- If this location is no longer convenient, contact your nearest Midas shop across Australia on 13 MIDAS (13 6432)
- Arrange a convenient time for the vehicle to be inspected and bring your original invoice to the location which is to carry out the work
- Midas will not pay under the guarantee for work performed elsewhere unless it has been expressly authorised in advance by Midas

Gas shock absorbers & struts Workmanship & Parts 24 months or 40,000 kilometres
Hydraulic shock absorbers & struts Workmanship & Parts 12 months or 20,000 kilometres
All other suspension & steering Workmanship & Parts 6 months or 10,000 kilometres
LPG Conversions Workmanship & Parts 24 months or 50,000 kilometres6
All other repairs & services Workmanship & Parts 3 months or 5,000 kilometres (minimum)
Ask your shop manager to explain the terms & conditions for any extended warranty that may be offered by a parts manufacturer in addition to the Midas Guarantee. Where a manufacturer’s guarantee extends beyond the Midas Guarantee Period, Midas will fit any replacement parts offered by the manufacturer at no charge7

2 Applies only to parts supplied by Midas; parts fitted under the Midas Guarantee will only be covered for the remainder of the original Guarantee Period, which commences from the date of the initial invoice
3 Muffler guarantee excludes damage caused by engine backfire
4 Extractors/Headers guarantee is 12 months where vehicles are fitted with LPG
5 Catalytic converter guarantee is limited to manufacturers’ defects and excludes damage caused by engine malfunction
6 LPG guarantee excludes damage caused by engine backfire or engine malfunction - refer to specific Manufacturers Warranty supplied with kit
7 Where parts or labour not covered under the Guarantee are required to fit replacement parts there may be additional charges
