One Thursday last month I took my Mazda to Midas Indooroopilly (on Coonan St) without a booking because my rear brakes started making a horrible grinding noise partway into a 2.5-hour drive from the Northern Rivers, NSW, to Brisbane on the afternoon of the previous day. I was only going to be in Brisbane for less than 36 hours, so turned up at Midas at 7 am (when they opened) without a booking, hoping they could squeeze me in on the Thursday, or on the Friday before I had to drive back to NSW. The Midas rep at the front counter, Cameron, gave me his full attention and very quickly understood my predicament, and said they'd diagnose the issue that morning. Thrilled that they could fit me in, if only for a diagnosis, I left my car with him. Within that first hour, the team of auto technicians, Dulantha and Fredi, completed the diagnosis and Cameron rang to tell me what my car needed to get me safely back on the road again (rear brake pads, rotors, and a number of other things), for which I gave the green light. The great thing is, Dulantha and Fredi were able to complete all the required work before I needed to collect my car at 1 pm to get to an appointment. Wow! When I collected my car, Cameron patiently walked me through the service report, which detailed the work completed along with future, recommended work. And when I drove off, I was extremely relieved to test my braking and not hear the grinding noise anymore. Well done, Cameron, Dulantha and Fredi!! You three attended to my problem very quickly, even though I hadn't made a booking, and got me back on the road right away. I can't thank you three enough! Thanks again, Midas Indooroopilly!

I was serviced by Ryder, came in to change my break pads and get a tire rotation. Service was great, Ryder was very friendly, and told me my pads didnt need to be replaced just machined, saved me some money. Would definitely recommend and will come back if I need any more work done!

Yesterday, I got some great care for my car at Midas Indooroopilly. The guys here really work hard to put the customers first every time and I feel it was totally worth it to get my car seen to.I now have a much smoother ride (= and less anxiety) and can get back on the highway again!!Talking to Alejandro, Cameron and Ryder has gotten me back on the straight and narrow and im sure had it not been for these awesome folks and the great mechanics there that I wouldn't have been able to drive my car much longer which is so important in my work life balance. 😀 Thank you guys!

Cameron really knows his way around vehicles. He explains it all in a space that I could understand and comprehend. I know it has four wheels and tyres but I didn't know the complexities of what is involved with what I should expect to receive. These guys were awesome. Got a puncture on the M5 and managed to limp it to their store. Even without calling ahead they fitted me in for a plug puncture repair for a super reasonable price. I was in and out in an hour and they did give me a quote on some new tyres but didn’t pressure me to purchase anything even though both of my rear tyres are ready to be replaced. Also had a good laugh with them while I was waiting. Friendly and professional. Would recommend. Cheers lads!

Midas Indooroopilly is under relatively new management. I took my old Landcruiser for longterm maintenance requirements. The staff were helpful discussing what they had done and even showed me some parts they had replaced. I think the costs were fair and reasonable. On the invoice they listed other repairs, with prices, that could be looked at later which will be useful.$150 per hour I suppose is the going rate for automechanics. I was interested to see the oil and filter change cost $300 so was pleased to see how much I had saved by doing it myself over the last couple of decades. Clearly best to do as much maintenance yourself as you can. In conclusion, Midas Indooroopilly has my confidence, and I will return there.

I was sent to Midas Indro to fix a puncture in my tyre. It was possibly one of the hottest days of the year, and I believe I showed up not long before close. But these legends still made time to get it done! The awesome gentleman I dealt with stood in the heat while we moved the tyre around to work out where the leak was coming from. I had to wait a little bit but they informed me where the closest cafe was and promptly called me to let me know when my car was 10 mins off ready. To top this great experience off, it was cheap as chips! Oh and not to mention, I witnessed someone be super rude to them at reception, and they stayed cool, calm and collected. Respect! Thank you so much Midas team! I will be coming back and would recommend you to anyone!
